THOMAS FRONTINI’nin hayallerindeki Kapadokya

İtalyan-İngiliz asıllı Thomas Frontini’nin Kapadokya’yı keşfettiği kış gezisinden sonra esinlendiği resimlerden oluşan ‘Unutulmuş Hayaller’ başlıklı sergi Gama Art Gallery’de açıldı.

Kanada doğumlu olan sanatçı Thomas Frontini‘nin eserleri, ressamın unutulmuş bir hayali olan; uzaklara, her şeyden arınış olarak gördüğü büyülü bir yere gitmeye tasvir ediyor. Resimler hayali bir sanatçının yolculuğunu resmediyor.

Sanatçı, geleneksel yağlı boya yaklaşımı ile seyahatlerindeki izlenimlerini ve deneyimlerini duygusal yansımaları ve hayalleri ile birleştiriyor. Balon gezileri, vadi manzarası, yeraltı şehirleri, antik kayalara oyulmuş kentler, hermit sanatının konutları, fantastik jeolojik özellikler vb hepsi geçmişte uzak bir yerde görülmüş bir yerin hayallerini izler.

Unutulmuş hayallerinin peşinden giden bir sanatçının sergisini 5 Mart 2019 tarihine kadar Gama Art Gallery‘de ziyaret edebilirsiniz.
